===== Default communication channel =====

For [[glossary:intelligent_business_object|intelligent business objects]] that have more than one [[glossary:communication_channel|communication channel]] the [[glossary:configurator|configurator]] may nominate one of these channels as a default channel. The default channel is the channel that all the communication with the business object will be sent through if the channel is not explicitly specified in the rules that send a [[glossary:notification|notification]] or request a [[glossary:service|service]].
