====== How to configure the system to send e-mails ======

To configure the application to send e-mails you need to do the following:

  - Define an intelligent business object representing the addressee of the e-mail with the communication channel of the “e-mail” type (see the “[[docs:2500_config_apps:0500_add_edit_objects:0600_intelligent_bo|Defining Intelligent Business Objects]]” section).
  - Define a notification representing a particular e-mail (see “[[docs:2500_config_apps:2300_emails:0200_outgoing_email|Sending Outgoing E-mail]]” section).
  - Define a business rule that would use the ''[[a_f:a:send|SEND]]'' action to send e-mail under particular circumstances – see the description of the ''[[a_f:a:send|SEND]]'' Action in the [[docs:3000_rule_language|Aware IM Rule Language Reference]].
