This action may start a [[docs:7000_glossary:process|process]], run a [[docs:7000_glossary:query|query]], create a document etc. The action is usually specific to the instance of a business object for which the operation is invoked. For example, a process started by an operation may take the instance of a business object as its [[docs:7000_glossary:process_input|input]]. Operations can be configured on business object [[docs:7000_glossary:object_form|forms]], on [[docs:7000_glossary:reference_attribute|reference attributes]] and on query result screen.
