FR - Some Form Tree Love

I've recently started playing with the Tree view for grids on forms for showing things like: company hierarchies within a contact BO and I've noticed there are some limitations to these:
  1. Can't use filters on the view
  2. Must specify a height - can't have stretch to bottom of window
  3. The field doesn't add an appropriate amount of space on the form
