Custom folder clarification

Post by hpl123 »

Hi all,
Just a not/tip on the Custom folder option. If you add a folder called "Custom" and place it in the main Aware IM folder, this folder is NOT deleted/replaced when you do a Aware IM update.

Another thing, if you create a CSS and JS folder in the Custom folder, all css/js etc. files in the folders are automatically added to the Aware IM startup procedure (i.e. if you have a css file and add it to the Custom/CSS folder, the CSS document with all classes, styles etc. are made available in your apps).

Even better Henrik.....

You will ultimately be able to put your css files in Business Space specific folders so they only get loaded for that BS.

ie....

Custom/CSS/Myapp1
Custom/CSS/Myapp2

I suspect the same will work for JS also but I have not confirmed that yet.
Cheers,
Mark

Thanks Mark,
Very nice, this is just what is needed. Do you know when we will get this? As part of V7 official?
