Problem with release 1032

Post by pbrad »

Hi,

It looks like there is an issue with the latest release which basically has me shutdown right now.

Any attributes that have 'Value must be provided' are throwing the error 'Field xxxx has invalid type or is not defined' whether a valid selection or entry is made or not.

In my case this means that no records can be created or edited as I have used this feature extensively. Please confirm and rectify ASAP. This is a major problem for me.

Thanks,
Pete

I had the same error message late last night.

In my further testing, it seems to be a problem with attibutes that have BOTH 'Value must be provided' and a choice list.

Last night I even got the error message when I was trying to save a BO that had a previously entered proper value in the attribute with a choice list. I had not changed that attribute.

By the way, I have experienced the problem both on my laptop running Derby and the server running MySql.

This has been fixed in build 1033. Our apologies.
