UserDefDoc - html problem

Hi,

I have this scenario:

1. UserDefDoc.Type = HTML
2. I upload the html with version1.html -> result is OK
3. Offline I change some design to version1.html (only some css)
4. Re-upload the new version1.html -> result NOT ok (the final document is displayed as plain text with tags visible as : <<TAG>>......)

I have thought that I've made some mistakes in html code, emptied the browser cache, tried with Chrome, Firefox, IE....etc...

5. I have created another UserDefDoc with same html from #4 --> the result is OK.

Can anyone reproduce this please?

Strange behaviour,

First thought is that something with cache, but no... I have emptied everything, also tried with Opera (never opened this UserDefDoc before)...

This is a bug?

Strange things happens with "EXPORT DOCUMENT" html.

IF I create a new UserDefDoc (html) everything is ok.

IF I change the html template for same UserDefDoc .... the exported html is not populated with data...I only see tags:

<<BO.attributes>><<BO.attributes>>
<<BO.attributes>><<BO.attributes>>................

Anyone have experienced this?
I will try to make a little bsv to demonstrate this issue.

This is what I use. If I create a new (virgin) UserDefDoc the html is displayed OK. If I change something in that html and I upload it again on same UserDefDoc, the document is NOT displayed ok.

George, do you make the changes inside Aware with the View button or do you change the html file outside of Aware and import again?

I make the changes outside AwareIM, in NotePad++

I cannot make it in AWIM, this does not make sense.Cannot Publish a new version every time I make changes to document templates.


I have a BO -> UserDefDoc with these attributes:
-UDD_Name
-UDD_Template
-UDD_Type
- TypeDoc (Plain Text: Invoice, Order, Receipt)

In my app I open the form for UserDefDoc and create/modify document templates like other Bo's. (name, type, etc.).
