Function:
BUSINESS_DAY_FORWARD
Description:
Calculates the date that corresponds to the first business day after the provided date. Business days are usually those that do not include weekends and public holidays. The list of public holidays may be provided in the “PublicHolidays” property of the server property file
There is no file in AwareIM directory that have the list of Public Holidays.
how can we change the Public Holidays and the weekend days.
I do it in a seperate BO as gazetted Public Holidays often vary year on year and many organisations move Public Holidays that fall mid-week to before or after a weekend.
Cheers,
Mark

still,
that mean we can't take advantage of AwareIM holydays and end of week related functions...
or even make the correct calculations regarding the issue
The following table lists and explains the property settings of the BASServer.props file that are used to initialize the Aware IM Server:
PublicHolidays - A collection of days identifying public holidays in the country or state of operation. This information is used by BUSINESS_DAY_FORWARD and BUSINESS_DAY_BACK functions of the Rule Language (see “Aware IM Rule Language Reference”). The days must be in the format “dd/MM/yyyy” and must be separated by comma, for example:
25/12/2004,26/12/2004,… If this propery is not specified BUSINESS_DAY_FORWARD and BUSINESS_DAY_BACK functions will only consider weekends as non-working days.
