Next big release - ext js6?

The next release will include Kendo UI library, rather than Sencha. (see http://www.telerik.com/kendo-ui)

Kendo UI, is far more advanced and up to date than Sencha. AwareSoft has made a great decision going this direction.

Current Aware has so many dependencies on Sencha library, replacing that full library, with anther company's library, is a H U G E undertaking, since it affects all the backend Java codes, configurator, name changes and above all, trying to keep it compatible to V6.
To make matters even more challenging, they have to do the same for Mobile as well...

This should give you an idea what Support is up against, a monumental job, which I admire them taking such leapfrog. But, with Kendo, we can design cutting edge look & feel apps.

When is going to be ready, I'm afraid to ask...

But we should all be ready to do a good beta testing when time comes.

Well,

I am starting to plan the next Aware IM Developers International Conference which
will be in Phuket Thailand in February so I am really hoping it will be released before
then.

But Ben is right. This must be a seriously huge undertaking and looking at the Kendo
controls am already peeing myself with excitement.

You are right - it's a huge job, but it's going very well and we hope to release the new version by the end of the year. Fingers crossed...

UI Controls look fantastic! Can't wait...
I use Telerik's Fiddler product for testing Web Service Calls... Works great.
