IE 7 Issue

Post by RocketRod »

Coming up with the IE 7 issue

'A script on this page is causing IE to run slowly.'

Getting it when a user has been in an BS for sometime updating data via a query. Has anyone else had this issue with IE and if so how did you get rid of it or do I just change my browser.

Currently trawling through the Internet for a solution. Any help appreciated.

Cheers Rod

Hey Rod,

I have been experiencing the same error message for the last month and a half. I am using version 1195 currently.

I did a little research and came up with the following:

http://www.techspot.com/vb/all/windows/ ... lowly.html

There are other links in the above that have registry changes that can be made to combat scripts that take a long time to run.

It is frusterating but it does not appear to be a Aware issue but rather an IE issue.

Cheers,

Bazar

Thanks Bazar. Good to see I'm not the only one with this issue. Had tried the suggestions already and no luck so am now going to switch to another browser. Am trying Chrome first, which so far has been positive. Yep know its not an Aware issue.
