SPAM in this appreciated forum gets annoying

Hello dear Awaresoft Team !

You shouldn't allow this valuable forum to be polluted with too much SPAM !

That could easily shy away newcomers and is annoying for (potential) customers; I don't mind too much myself, but wanted nevertheless address this issue

!

I'll 2nd this one.
Can't you update to phpBB latest?
I believe they are on version 3x and have had features to avoid spam for sometime.

You are right, of course, and I apologize on behalf of the Aware IM team. This is a big problem for us - we have been updating to the latest versions of phpBB only to find that the spammers are still one step ahead. Anyway, we will update to the version 3.0 soon and keep our fingers crossed...
