JBoss Upgrade

Is it a good idea to attempt a JBOSS version upgrade. ?

Does AwareIm intend to feature a later version of Jboss in an upcoming release

It's not a good idea - don't try to do this, you are potentially asking for trouble.

We have no intentions to upgrade unless there are serious reasons to do so. Why are you even contemplating this? It won't give you any benefits as a user.

Well, periodically the Jboss server wont start in a development environment and the way to resolve this is to copy a clean version of the JBOSS directory into the current AwareIM directory. This resolves the problem and confirms to me that there are issues with the Jboss and hopefully a newer version may resolve this and others that may impact a production environment

So its as simple as that
