How can I provide a drop down list and capture only the 1st one or two characters. For instance a list of state codes - AK Alaska. I want to show the state names in alpha order but only want to capture the two character state code.
I tried just making the attribute 2 characters long but that causes a truncation error. Truncation is what I'm looking for.
You can make a BO called States, then use it as a reference in other BOs. You can define which columns of the States BO are shown in the reference BO dropdown, then use shortcuts to show other info.
