Since I do not know the id of the loged in user, I quess I can not get the object from the server by its id.
I have been able to create a query to get the information I want, so the answer to my third question is 'Yes' and the rest of my questions are now immaterial.
Howerver, I would still like to know what attributes are available without having to run a query.
