Code: Select all
P.S. What is the list of new features in next version & when it will be released?

The focus of the version will be predominately a list of little things that make the difference. Among relatively big features will be native support for Postgre SQL, Preview of a report in the Report Designer, support for barcodes and QR codes in the Report Designer. At this stage we are planning to release the version in late October.
just wondering if this release is on target for late October?

2. Official support for MySQL 8 including MySQL 8 cluster environments.

Thanks :)
We can do this on forms with multiple columns so it would be great if we could do this on a grid!
It would definitely improve the responsiveness of the grid when the browser is resized.

Could we :
  1. Include this as a column in the list of all Rules for an Object (so that it can be reviewed quickly without having to open each rule)
  2. Have this default to Yes (ticked) when a Rule is created
Absolutely, have asked for this. You must know the importance of this tiny tick box if you want to scale a system, and it should be default to Yes (ticked) when a Rule is created.

I'm kinda torn by this, scaling is an "advanced" user (though really a matter of good design and planning) and I agree with Vlad that new users have basic expectations.

An alternative would be something similar to Styles but for processes where you could set default Rule properties
