How to enable horizontal orientation for calendar query

Can someone help me how do I display a calendar with horizontal orientation instead of vertical?

Secondly, the resource for the timeline views is disabled for the BO group query. Is there any way how can I enable it?

1. Check the 'Vertical orientation' checkbox in the Display Settings of the query. Vertical in AIM is what Kendo calls Horizontal. The terminology is reversed.
