Please note that this thread should be about ALL improvements to Aware IM, not limited to the Configuration Tool as specified at the beginning of the thread.

1.
As I'm new to v8.1 (just testing for now), I wish that "lost" feature from v7 to be re-activated in V8.1:
- in v7.1 -> Visual Perspectives ->Left frame -> Standard menu:
-----> to allow : Head & Footer (html format like as for Panel Bar)

2.
I'd like to have "Condition when invisible" for all elements in Visual Perspective:
in Main Frame : for Panel Container; for Content Panel; etc.

Adding a basic capability to copy, cut, paste and find (on mouse right click) on certain places in config tool like Custom query, plain text, advanced script, html boxes.

This should already be available in two commands: Find Element and Search Scripts/HTML

Vlad, ok, maybe the find & search you can do if you're not down into an actual text box...
But this is related to general GUI-friendly activities needed to speed us up during development.

In an HTML box, for example, it would be SUPER-nice to be able to:
Ctrl-A to select all text
TAB out of the box to the OK button

And while you can already use keyboard shortcuts to cut/copy/paste, I guess this request encompasses a proper "context menu" to bring up a way to copy/cut/paste AND FIND, in the event you have really huge scripts, etc. Right now you have no option but to scroll and look for your word if you're trying to find something.

Hi again,

Locale: On top of the columns-> a filter to find the text faster. When developer type a text -> in the list bellow to appear all options containing that text.

Now we have to scroll entire list to find the translation.

Default it to Left for Strings, Right for Numeric and I won't have to spend time beautifying my numeric columns by having to drill in and set the Header Styles.
There are more properties, but you could still get to them by clicking the row, edit, header styles.

Maybe a Ctrl-Click on the Alignment pulldown could popup the header Styles dialog directly. Hmmmm !!!

Element Categories that render as folders in the Element Tree are invaluable for organising a large BSV.

Be great if you could change the name of a Category in one place (at the folder in the the Element Tree) . Currently you have to change the Category field of each element in the folder.

In Configuration Tool, "Business Spaces" panel > right click of a BSV , a new menu option to "Delete all Obsolete Versions"

With the ability to set any non current versions as obsolete so that you can then delete them.

In a Query "Operations with records" displays buttons in columns located at the end of each query result row.

You can change the sequence of these buttons but they are always grouped together at the far right end of each query result row. Be nice if you could move individual buttons to different columns
