Re: Is there a way to make the IMPORT *NOT* delete my .csv f
There is a "retain import file" option if you use the System menu to do an interactive Import.
I'm doing it from a Process from a menu.

Why not create a process and locate it on your "Top Bar"?Jaymer wrote:There is a "retain import file" option if you use the System menu to do an interactive Import.

I do have all my imports as pulldown options that start processes.

FOUND out why no one cares about this
because I think it only happens on the Mac version. Mark Bailey & I use Mac - who else?
If you're on Windows, then your csv file stays put.
Every time you import (on the mac via a process) it removes the file when done.
So when you're doing a bunch of testing over and over, you have to keep the file(s) open in a text editor, switch to that when it complains "file not found" (cause you forgot), save it, then switch back to browser and import again.

Re: ►Ah Ha !!!◄ Import CSV gets deleted when done
I don't use the Mac version.
Initially I did but did not like it.
I now use the Windows version on Windows 10 running on Parallels on my Mac.
Source csv does not get deleted for me.

Re: ►Ah Ha !!!◄ Import CSV gets deleted when done
I use to use the Mac version but have switched unfortunately to Windows :
- CSV gets deleted when imported using a Process ( see the CRM app at first launch...)
- the Windows version is around 10 time faster than the Mac version ( might be due to Mysql....)

I'm on a Mac too and can confirm that CSV gets deleted when imported using a Process.
