Merrick, Aware IM has everything required for web access. It includes a web server (Tomcat) that can handle web requests. It does not need any external software such as Apache or Microsoft Internet Information Server. Aware IM will run on any platform - Windows, Linux or Mac. It doesn't matter wheth...

I understand. However, if you run the startAwareIMNoGUI.sh script you do not get any UI at all - no Control Panel etc. Aware IM server and all the required components (Tomcat and JBoss) just start in the background and that's it. So if you include this script into some Mac OS X start up script it wi...

Why do you need the Confuguration Tool to be running at all times? Once you have configured your application you do not need to have the Configuration Tool running at all. When you do want to make changes to the application you can run the Configuration Tool from a separate machine if you don't want...

I think the issue is parent/child relationship between objects. This relationship assumes that the child object cannot exist without its parent. This means that the child object (Order) is automatically deleted by the system once it is dissociated from its parent (TruckDelivery). This also implies t...

I see where you now provide for AwareIM to run as a service in Windows and Linux. Is there any reason this will not work in Mac OS 10.4.x? Also, I was able to start it via the recommended script (as I previously wrote), but the only way to stop it was by killing all Java processes from the command ...

Well, it should, unless your version of Linux does not support this file and has some other means of starting the script. Do you have any other scripts in this file that you know are working? Which version of Linux are you using? Please also check that the startAwareIMNoGUI.sh script has an ampersan...

This error message is displayed when an attribute is marked as "Value must be provided" in the Configuration Tool but when you fill out the form for the object in a browser the value for this attribute is blank. This has nothing to do with rules. Without seeing the configuration it is hard to say wh...
