Re: Form > Panel Operations > Edit Toolbar missing Move Up button
Thanks for so much for your help Jaymer, your advice has fixed my problem. The particular instance of AwareIM is being accessed by remote AwareIM configuration tools so we had to do the following : Run the AwareIM Configuration Tool on the desktop of the remote server On that instance of the AwareIM...

Top Panel Toolbar.png In Version 8.6 this button is not visible? 8_6onfiguration Tool.png There are also Up and Down buttons in the preceding Form > Panel Operatio...

Re: Schedulers execution capacity
My understanding is the AwareIM scheduler works like a normal AwareIM process except that it gets started automatically every minute. The issue you need to be “aware” of is that the scheduler only ever has one instance of it running. If the scheduler initiates a process that takes more than 1 minute...

Re: Exception exporting document...(Access Denied)
Another scenario that can trigger an "Access Denied" error is when you have multiple object instances in context. When you have multiple object instances in context and you EXPORT DOCUMENT Document_Name TO FILE File_Name AwareIM creates a folder named File_Name and then exports multiple files into t...

Re: Server issues - Aware Restart Needed
Hi Mark,
For issue (A) we use https://uptimerobot.com/ for monitoring public facing URLs. Primarily it checks on our clients websites but we do have it checking a public facing AwareIM server as well. It cheap and reliable.
Be interested in anyone’s suggestions for (B).

Re: EXEC_SP Call not working
Typing this on my phone so a bit restricted.
I think you need to include ID,BASTIMESTAMP & BASVERSION columns in your SQL SELECT statement.

Re: Maria DB on Mac
Perhaps you have mySQL still running? By default mySQL and mariaDB use the same port of 3306 so they cannot run at the same time.

Re: Windows or Linux?
We’d prefer to use Linux but you need to run a Windows AwareIM server if you want to use the User Defined Documents functionality with MS Word or MS Excel documents as you need to have MS Word installed on the AwareIM server?

Re: (free) native app RAD with REST
Hi Henrik, AppGyver is still looking very good. Need to do user acceptance testing of the App yet but it seems to deliver exactly what we want. I look forward to demonstrating the App at the next AwareIM conference. The gossip is there is a good chance it will be held in 2037. For client side storag...

Re: (free) native app RAD with REST
I should add AppGyver is very good BUT it is no replacement for AwareIM. Using AppGyver has reminded us of how very much AwareIM does!!! AppGyver is looking very promising as a platform to present AwareIM managed data into a "native" mobile App.

Re: (free) native app RAD with REST
We've been testing out AppGyver trialling replacing an existing native app. It has a great user interface and active forum and is showing promise as a way of leveraging AwareIM's REST facilities. One issue we have is how AwareIM constructs a REST response when it returns a SINGLE item where MULTIPLE...

Re: Virtual Records Returned to Query by Stored Procedure
Hi Mark, To resolve this we’ve used a stored procedure to actually INSERT records into a temporary mySQL/mariaDB table and then querying that table so we can pass data to “Operations With Records”. Having real rows behind the query also seems to enable the column filters to work in the Query (filter...
