This turned out to be a repaint issue. For some reason the controls are not resizing when the form is and as a result the drop down \/ part of the combo is getting trimmed off. I've been getting this and was unable to pinpoint what was causing the trapping so thank you! I've now changed my forms to full screen and although it doesn't look so nice it does seem to have resolved the problem so thanks again!
