Yes and it goes to the Deployed folder. This is my preferred method of updating. I have a batch file to stop and start both services. I trigger the batch file for the middle of the night. I noticed in 5.x that the runtime installation plops a file called app.bsv into the Autodeployment folder. I noted it to Support and I recently updated a runtime client on 7.0 and did not see the issue. But after installing a runtime update, make sure there is nothing in the AUTO_DEPLOYMENT folder....
