I have a rule: If RsrControl WAS CHANGED Then RsrControl.LastMaintBy=LoggedInRegularUser.LoginName RsrControl.LastMaintTime=CURRENT_TIMESTAMP ----------------------------------------------- If I have 10 attributes in RsrControl & this rule associated with RsrControl BO, shouldn't RsrControl.LastMain...

Turning off rule processing during bug tracking??
Does anyone know of any tricks to temporarily turn off certain rules from processing. I'm trying to track a bug in my BSV & suspect that it's in a bad rule. One easy way to track it down would be to turn "off" a series of rules, then turn them back on one by one.
Thanks,
Tom

am/pm
I am trying to get a time like "5:37 pm" to show with no leading ZERO and AM/PM indicated. I have experimented & found that h:mm results in removing the leading zero. Is there a way to get am/pm to on forms? Thanks! Tom PS -- Suggestion to AwareIM -- h:mm should be documented / shown in the dropdown...

error message help
I am running a query and getting the following error message:
"Internal error. Error reading business object. Comparisons between SMALLINT and CHAR are not supported. "
Can you give me any clues where to start with problem solving?
Thanks,
Tom

Preview issue
I have a BO attribute that was previous presented as "generate combo box". I changed it to "generate radio buttons". When I click preview for the form, the preview form still shows a combo box. However when I run the BSV in test mode, the attribute properly shows radio buttons.
Thanks,
Tom

I might have had a similar experience the other day. I inherited an Access database with spaces in the table names and field names. I used a conversion program to move it to MySql & connected it to AwareIM. AwareIM did not complain about the spaces & the Integrity Check did not complain about them e...

Wish list: allowing yes/no attribute in calculations.
Page 38 of the Rule Language Reference says: Attributes of the Yes/No type may not participate in arithmetic calculations. Wish list: MS access allows yes/no fields to be used in calculations as a boolean value: yes=1 and no=0. I've found it handy to use a yes/no field in a forumula, rather than cod...
