===== Required attribute =====

The [[glossary:configurator|configurator]] may specify that a value must be provided for an [[glossary:attribute|attribute]], in other words it cannot be empty. In this case //**[[glossary:aware_im]]**// will check the value of the attribute whenever the [[glossary:business_object|business object]] (or [[glossary:notification|notification]]) is created or updated in [[glossary:operation_mode|operation mode]] and disallow the operation if the attribute value is undefined.
