How to initialize form controls

When the user is entering attribute values of a new business object using an object form you can get Aware IM to initialize controls in the form with some values. In order to do this you need to configure the initial value for the attribute represented by the control you want to initialize. See the “Common Properties” section for details on how to do this.

If initialization of an attribute depends on some complex conditions you can define a business rule that sets the value of the attribute based on these conditions and declare that this rule should be used during form initialization. See the “Initialization Rules” section.
