There are three types of forms used in Aware IM:

This form is used to enter or change values of attributes of a business object. Aware IM generates the default layout of a form automatically for every business object. You can control how this is done - see the “Business Object Forms” section for details.

Unlike the object form, which is used to enter or change values of attributes of a business object, presentation is used to display these values (usually after a user performs a search by running a query). Aware IM supplies the standard form that displays the results of any query but you can also design your own presentation form using the Report/Presentation Designer. See the “Data Presentation” section for details.

This form represents a top-level screen that users see when they log into the application. The screen usually contains the system menu, status information, company logo etc. Aware IM generates the default visual perspective, but you can customize the default perspective and/or supply your own. It is also possible to define several visual perspectives and switch between them. See the “Adding/Editing Visual Perspectives” section for details.
