This document describes the basic steps required to configure, test and deploy applications using //**Aware IM**//. 



The more detailed description is provided in the [[docs:2000_concepts]] and [[docs:2500_config_apps]]. The examples of sample applications are provided in the [[docs:1000_quick_tour|Quick Tour]] and [[docs:6000_case_study| Configuration Case Study]] documents.



The following description assumes that //**Aware IM**// has been installed and the //**Aware IM**// Server has been started (see the [[docs:1100_inst_guide|Aware IM Installation Guide]] for details).
